AVATR Officially Launched in Hong Kong with the Debut of AVATR 11

AVATR is officially launched in Hong Kong, brought together by the powerful alliance of Changan Automobile, Huawei, and CATL, with DCH Motors as the largest partner. New Era, New Luxury — Leading a New Era of Luxury

As the debut model in Hong Kong, the flagship luxury SUV AVATR 11 heralds a new era for the local pure electric vehicle market. Developed by AVATR’s Global Design Centre in Germany, AVATR 11's design is so compelling it earned the German Red Dot Design Award in 2024. AVATR’s Director of Interior Design, Maksymilian Nawka shared his unique insights on "First Look Design" at the press conference: "Great design is memorable not for its excessive take on technology, but because it awakens personal emotions. It doesn’t blindly follow trends; but an aesthetic imagination that persists despite distraction. AVATR utilises thoughtful design to achieve the freedom of imagination."

Jessica Hsuan: AVATR 11 is the ideal choice for premium travel

At the Hong Kong launch event for the AVATR 11, celebrated Hong Kong actress and guest of honour Jessica Hsuan endorsed the vehicle for its distinctive style and functionality. "The AVATR 11 stands out with its sleek lines and advanced technological design, making it a clear choice or luxury travel" she noted. "Its enveloping cabin that reflects elegance in both the front and rear rows. Particularly in Hong Kong's warm climate, features like seat ventilation, as well as the one-button lie-flat function, and an eight-point massage setting provide a first-class travel experience on any journey." Jessica also shared how she relaxes with running, yoga, and staying active. In her spare time, she also enjoys city drives and listening to jazz in the quiet cabin space helps alleviate the stresses of filming. The AVATR 11's premium British Meridian sound system is top of the line, with 25 speakers for surround sound as well as a three-screen display in the front row for an immersive cabin entertainment experience.

Limited Edition AVATR 012 Exhibition

In addition to the AVATR 11, the launch event also featured an exciting unveiling of the limited edition AVATR 012, a customised co-branded model and the second instalment in the AVATR 0 series. This model represents the appreciation of art and technology together, co-designed by AVATR's Chief Design Officer Nader Faghihzadeh and renowned fashion icon Kim Jones. Kim, known for his roles as the artistic director of womenswear and haute couture at Fendi and as the artistic director of menswear at Dior, has been honoured twice as Menswear Designer of the Year by the British Fashion Council. This collaboration marks Kim Jones' inaugural venture into automotive design, where he brings his extensive experience and the meticulous craftsmanship characteristic of luxury fashion to the automotive world. Limited to just 700 units globally, the AVATR 012 is available in a left-hand drive.
